1. The hotel staff were very friendly and the concierge was exceptionally helpful (I needed to have the subway talk with someone, and she dumbed-it-down for me, being from small town Saskatchewan hahaha!) There were some deli counters close by, some confectionaries, as well as shopping.

3. As a matter of fact after the second unacceptable room we left and went to the Waldorf where for $80/night more we were put on the concierge floor.

The 24 hour business center advertised on the internet is currently closed which was extremely inconvenient as we use the facilities to check into flights, and where other hotels will be happy to do that for you via the concierge or front desk, we were sent on a walk to the nearest Kincos in the rain with no apology for the trouble.
