1. staff very unpersonal and a little rude, is good for the money but not the greatest, is a very beautigul hotel but the staff makes it 'ok'.

3. This was a relatively simple hotel, basic provisions, and perfect for someone who isn't planning to spend much time in the room and is instead using the money they saved by staying here to go explore the infinite experiences New York has to offer.

4. There are areas of the hotel which need some money spent - like new chairs (or at least covers) in the reception area; new carpets in bedrooms.

5. Only a five minute walk from central park, 5th avenue, times square, broadway etc.So to anyone already booked, dont worry and to anyone thinking of booking, its a great, value for money hotel.

7. You can use most cards over there, my HSBC one was 2.5% up to five dollars for withdrawing money: that would have been better value than using the post office to get your dollars, and you wouldn't have to lug it around at the airport either.
