1. They had had problems with housekeeping, either no or very late maid service, in past years but that appears to have been cleared up too.

2. The maid service was very poor, despite our mentioning a consistent problem to the front desk clerk; which was the housekeeper's failure to pick up dirty towels from the bathroom closet for three consecutive days.
