2. The decor and atmosphere was much like the glitzy casino itself and my preference is to be able to step out of that atmosphere for a nice meal and then step back into it afterward.

The decor was really not to our taste, but par for the course in a casino hotel--smoked mirrors, sparkly strip lighting, etc. The rooms in the Tower are a bit worn and due for updating, and there is definitely refurbishing in progress--can be pretty noisy early in the morning, depending on your location in the hotel.
