1. The parking was free and secured.

The resort is very large - set up in three sections - unfortunately we were in the Ranchos section - very far (10 minute walk to El Centro (registration, restaurants, etc), but it was fairly close to the main pool and our car which was good since we drove ourselves to park each day (free parking at parks included with plan).

The footprint of the resort is enormous and makes for a good walking workout but its size dictates its feel - from your first attempt at finding a parking space to trying to find which entrance to use for checkin to scouring a google-earth size map to find your room, the scale is big, big and bigger.

5. As a new visitor to Disney World, I was unaware that the room key could also be used for free parking at all venues, entrance to the resort, a park pass and credit card.

6. There was plenty of parking and 3 different shuttle bus stops around the hotel, so you didn't need to walk all the way to the front of the hotel for either.
