1. Save your money and go value OR the luxury was nice too (though, in my opinion, not worth it unless you plan on spending ALOT of time in your room).

4. My first stay onsite due to a conference confirmed with me that unless I have money to burn for a higher end property like AK Lodge, when I'm on my own dime, I'll stay offsite.

6. If you get a good rate and decide to stay here anyway, still rent a car - you'll save money and eat better, and get to the airport when you need, not 2 hours early.
