5. I phoned Disney directly to find out if there were any deals (which I highly recommend, as they were able to quote better prices than I could find on expedia or priceline, etc.) - there was a $135/night deal on the Coronado Springs.

7. We got a special 'all-in' price (resort, meal plan, park passes, transport to/from the airport) for our stay as part of a promotion earlier this year, so I believe we got a very good deal overall, given what I saw being charged for the meals we ate.
