1. Either the Miami Standard has finally sorted out its staff, or we were just lucky, but we were treated well by everyone there (especially the valets, who happily retrieved the laptop we forgot, and called out after us as we walked to dinner to wish us a good evening).

3. Also, due to the nightmare of parking in SoBe, make sure that if you want to take your car out, you call numerous times (and early) to get your car from the valet.

PROS:- The pool is prob the best in Miami- The spa gives amazing treatments and is top notchCONS:- The prices are INSANE!(I was paying $500 a night for a basic room)- The location is on a bridge, there is no way to walk to South Beach unless you have 45 minutes to kill- Since the curtains are white your room will be Bright first thing in the morning, so no sleeping in- Noisy cleaning staff wakes you up in the morning thanks to the thin walls- You have to valet your car.

10. One final comment -- the valet situation can be a pain in the butt -- but, importantly, Steve at the valet was clear and accurate up front about the timing situation so he made the situation as good as it possibly could be.
