1. Either the Miami Standard has finally sorted out its staff, or we were just lucky, but we were treated well by everyone there (especially the valets, who happily retrieved the laptop we forgot, and called out after us as we walked to dinner to wish us a good evening).

7. 1/3 of the service was great - what you would expect - such as a manager asking how we were doing in the cocktail area before being seated for dinner, the front desk guys, the early morning worker who made sure I had coffee before the kitchen was open, most of the female servers we had for dinners.

Bread given only sometimes with dinner, water glasses not filled attentively a few times, pool boy with an attitude from the start (we waited 45 minutes just to find him to get towels our first day and then later he rudely informs me that only 2 pool lounge chairs can be saved at a time when there are 3 of us and EVERYONE else lays down their stuff at chairs and they are theirs for the entire day), 1/3 of the service was just OK - barely tolerable.

10. So then we decide to go to dinner and that is when the worst part happened Supposed to be pet friendly, yet provided no bags around the walking area to properly dispose of your pets waste and because my dogs were barking and guest complained they went into our room and removed them without trying to call us on our cellphones to let us know, I understand the complaints, but imagine my horror when I got back from dinner and my dogs were not in the room.
