5. Shortly after check-in, we learned that the hotel had rented out the pool for a 'Hip Hop' Party where anyone off the street could pay a small amount of cash to get into our pool.

6. We charmed the check-in agent (I guess) as we ended up with a waterfront room, of which there are few; most guests will face out the side to a neighbouring hotel so dont stay at the SouthSeas expecting a room with a view unless you pay the premium price for it.
