5. (b) room service was impeccable (c) the view from the balcony (we got the bay view) was nice and it was a perfect place to sit and have breakfast (yes pamper yourself to a balcony breakfast) (d) although the area (coconut grove) is a bit too mainstream (Gap, Starbucks etc) there are two *wonderful* upscale restaurants: The Jaguar (Peruvian) and Le Bouchon (french bistro) that added to the experience.

6. Before I go into the details of our stay at the Ritz, I really want to know why $100/night hotels offer free parking, free breakfast, free wireless internet access, free business computer access and free local calls while a $455/night hotel like the Ritz charges $30/day for parking, expensive breakfasts, daily charges for wireless internet access, minute-by-minute charges for business computer access and a 99% overcharge on local calls.
