1. If you plan to hang out in Miami beach, best to stay on Miami beach itself where all the activities are.

Do ask for the chair covers as the thick chair pads are in need of a good washing:) It is a truly beautiful older hotel and the stay was great but for the reward points, I think there are other Ritz Carlton's (Naples, Palm Beach and Key Biscayne) that seem to really reach out to make sure you have an amazing Ritz Carlton experience.
