2. There's some other hotels, golf courses, etc. Also about a 10-15 minute walk north along the paved beach path is Whaler's Village, a collection of stores and restaurants that also has a small mall-style food court (McDonalds, Subway, etc.), so if you're looking for a quick, cheaper lunch or to do a bit of shopping check it out.

10. All of the restaurants are excellent but of coarse of the pricier side- Umalu is good for lunch or casual dinner and food and drinks by the pool and sonz has the best breakfast buffet ever- and also nicer upscale for dinner with the best waiters I have ever had every-time we eat there.
"Second time here, and still the best on maui! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/5/2010 Vote
