1. The hotel restuarant was nice, lovely steak and the prix fixe menu for 40 dollars for 3 courses represented good value for money in comparision to other top class hotels in the area, in the Bev Wilshire for example this would hardly buy you lunch.

2. The hotel is also great value (I paid $199) and will remain so as the basic architecture of the building and the rooms mean it will never be able to attract the hyper lux crowd who now insist on enourmous bathrooms, rooms, etc. Your room and bathroom will be small.
