3. The location, on Hollywood Boulevard across from Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Madame Tussaud's, and the Hollywood & Highland Center/Kodak Theatre, is convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and bars/restaurants.

4. Although food in the hotel's restaurant seemed expensive we can recommend its burger bar which served fantastic burgers and equally delicious sweet potato fries.

7. As far as the hotel itself great place to impress a date definitely more of a hip younger crowd around, nice spacious lobby to hangout with a classy bar close and a pool bar outside.

9. Overall, we liked the hotel - very atmospheric in the old lobby, lovely pool and cool bar area but I think you would need to consider carefully if this is the sort of thing you want.

10. The poolside bar is lovely, and at the weekend attracted the "It" crowd, but it was fun to see how the LA lifestyle seems to be.
