1. However, the parking attendants were such nice guys that we it did not change our feelings about being at this wonderful hotel.

2. We rented a car and we used the parking next door, much cheaper then valet parking.

3. One other tip there is a parking garage as part of the shopping centre on Hollywood and Highland right nextdoor to the hotel, if you hire a car, it's a good idea to park your car there - it is $10 for a night as opposed to three times that for the hotel.

Location is a key selling point, as the hotel is part of the large Hollywood and Highland complex with restaurants, the Kodak Theatre, Grumman's Chinese Theatre, etc. There is a huge underground parking deck for the complex, which we found to be a better deal than using valet parking at the hotel.

5. It is a fast, safe and inexpensive way to get about, without the hassles of parking and LA traffic to contend with.

6. The shopping mall is connected with the hotel (coffes shop, restaurants, shops), the breakfast is very good, the parking valet service is very convenient.

8. The hotel also has car poarking facilities which was great for us because we had hired a ca to drive onto Vegas and it was good to be able to park it safely on the complex.
