1. We had a fabulous room with 2 double beds on the 13th floor and the view was spectacular towards downtown L A in front and the hollywood sign to the left.

2. If you stay in Downtown areas they can be a bit quiet but just a stones throw away from the hotel you have all the sights and sounds of the famous Grumman Theatre etc. Also, a lot of the tours of Movie stars homes etc start in this area so it is very convenient.

3. We decided to stay in the Hollywood area rather than downtown and found the Renaissance to be perfectly situated for all of the tourist/sightseeing areas.

5. From the Renaissance you take access the subway rail network which is a quick and efficient way to get you places such as downtown (for a Saturday morning Conservancy Walking Tour) or to Union Staiton to connect with regular bus service to LAX.

6. It has great views - you can have view over the street (facing the LA downtown far away) or have view look directly to the 'HOLLYWOOD' sign on the hill.

7. Another big plus is the metro station which is located just beside the hotel and links you directly to the Downtown and conference area as well as being just one stop away from Universal studios.
