1. You also have to pay for parking and for Internet access, the latter being less acceptable these days since it's free at every Super 8.

6. Upon checking out, the young man asked about our problem and when I told him that they didn't quiet down for another twenty minutes or so, he removed one night's parking charge from the bill ($32) which was also appreciated.

7. I opted to park my car in a parking lot down the street that charged $19 a day instead of the $32 that the hotel charged, because we stayed three nights and didn't need a car.
