1. The Fountain Room carried a trade-off, as you earned your magnificent view of the Main Street fountains by bearing the warmth which could not be managed by the overtaxed cooling system (hey, it was July in Houston).

3. The hotel is located in a great neighborhood (known as the Museum District) and the Museum of Fine Arts is right across the street from the hotel.

5. The wedding was at 7 PM down the street so we could not do this and expressed our displeasure with having such a short amount of time to get ready, 30 minutes later and having the front desk lady go to the back multiple times she finally came back magically with a room, right next to the pool.

6. We ended up driving our own rented car both times in which we had to deal with the gang/horde/pack of valets and navigate the Houston streets.
