4. Try the Creme Pot for a wonderful breakfast or brunch and for a great cheeseburger, there's the Cheeseburger in Waikiki just up the street from the Hawaiian Monarch.

7. Oh and as we walked out the hotel with our cases in tow another police car was dealing with yet another problem on the street, We took that as the ultimate sign.

8. The complimentary welcome breakfast included with the Expedia package turned out to require us to confirm 48 hours in advance and print out a certificate to take down the street to Hard Rock Cafe (hard to do when we were in the middle of a trip and didn't have internet access).
