1. It is a Waikiki hotel which is comfortable, cost-effective (exceptionally so!) and convenient (how much closer to the beach can you get in Waikiki?).

2. I would recommend calling the hotel direct and check what special rates they have on at the time therefore cutting out any unnecessary cost, plus I got a free upgrade from a City View to a Partial Ocean which was fabulous.

5. Best rooms are oceanfront, ok, they cost more than partial ocean views, but give views of Waikiki Beach as good as any other hotel in the area at a fraction of their prices.
