Right on the beach and along with being on the beachfront I discovered the best place to eat breakfast!(who cares that there is no restaurant in the hotel when you find something better) Just go down a couple of blocks (towards Diamond Head) past Maccas and Burger King and turn left at Kalakaua Ave.

4. From here we watched the sunset, people coming and going on the street/beachfront, we could see the surfers, everything except for Diamond Head actually.

9. Sent to Hawaii from China at age 12 to be a nanny/housekeeper, she became an astute businesswoman, eventually purchasing and operating the Marina Apartments, which provided the deluxe beachfront site for what was to become her Waikiki Circle Hotel.
