1. )Yes, you only get a room - there's no pool or bar - but the beach is across the road and you can visit any bar at any hotel you like.

6. OBS: Having no own garden-terrace, ocean-bar, restaurant etc. we enjoyed very much to stroll the short distance to legendary Moana Surfrider where we dined or sipped cocktails al fresco listening to the lapping water or local live music.

We had a great dinner at Chuck's Cellar on Kailuani Avenue, a romantic sunset dinner at the Hula Grill, Outrigger and a great happy hour at the Top of Waikiki, 2270 Kalakaua Avenue, a revolving restaurant, sit at the bar between 5 and 7 for $4 martinis and draft beer, and half price appetizers and see the entire skyline of Waikiki move past.
