6. Loved the lobby, and the staff was friendly ( wish I could say the same about the rest of Hawaii-I fully understand the history but is rudeness ever acceptable?) It's pretty central to everything in Waikiki if that is your thing, which is great.

10. When you go to do your research on Honolulu/Waikiki hotels you will see that the Maile Sky court rates are reasonable but bear in mind those rates do not include parking, internet (except in the lobby), phone calls or even in-room coffee after your first night.
