All my gf and I wanted was a comfortable and less pricey place to sleep downtown, and we got it, for everyone complaining about the little things, the rooms were smaller but still comfortable, decent tv, bed was nice, windows maybe a little dirty but the view is still fantastic, and everyday the rooms were cleaned with fresh towels.

We would like to add that we stayed in a high floor with a kitchen, this saved us going down for coffees in the mornings as we took a French press with us, there is a convenience store across the street and there is a coffee shop too, i-hops (inexpensive breakfast) is along the street and the bus stop is on the corner, for downtown Honolulu and Pearl Harbor if you don't want to take a private tour, the internet in the lobby works just fine, but we decided to pay for internet in our room as we were staying for 16 nights.
