1. I would think the hotel would somehow compensate me (or at least offer to reduce the amount I was charged, throw in a free night of valet or something).

2. The valet service is great though, they have a great setup and super friendly staff that didn't get mad at us when we had to get them to pull the car around twice for things we left inside.
