1. For breakfast or lunch, the Commersary, located three blocks away on P Street, was excellent.

2. And just across the street is a CVS 'pharmacy' which sells plenty of snacks, drinks, etc for late nite tv viewing in your room.

3. There is a Metro station is just down the street if you dont fancy walking, we found the Metro an excellent way of getting around DC.

6. A few blocks away is a great place called the Commissary (across the street from Whole Foods) - great food and VERY reasonably priced (we both ate for $22).

7. There aren't too many restuarants in the nearby area, but I recommend heading to George Town for food - it's straight down 'M' street for just over a mile and has a fantastic selection of places to eat.
