2. The desk receptionist was tickled when I exclaimed, 'Morrison-Clark Inn is no Motel [assign appropriate numerical value here]!' This inn was exquisite with its period decor, amenities, EXCELLENT air conditioning, cordial and dedicated service from all personnel, and short walk to the DC Convention Center.

6. We felt like we stepped into a scene from Gone with the Wind because the decor was very 'turn of the century' which fit the bill because the hotel served as an Inn for military men during their service in the Civil War to WWII.
