The parking lot was full (it's first come, first serve) so Jordan mapped out the best place for us
to park
until we could get into the hotel lot.

One was the parking, which was a bit of a hassle -- we had
to park
on the street four blocks away for the first two nights (it was on the weekend, though, so restrictions were lifted).

We had
to park
at a different hotel and pay $40 plus walk back 30 minutes.

I think there were 10-12 tiny spots behind the hotel, but if they were full--you were forced
to park
at a parking garage a few blocks away or parallel park at 2hour intervals.

The first night, we arrived late and there were no parking spots so the receptionist allowed us
to park
in the dedicated loading area.

CONS: Parking is a big one: we were not lucky enough to get into their 'limited' free lot, and were advised
to park
on the street.

While parking in DC is very limited they had a few spaces and we were able
to park
our van in the Handicapped spot throughout our trip.

I was told it was okay
to park
in a handicapped spot, even though I have no sticker or special license plate on my car.

The fee
to park
8 hrs overnight was $30!now in defense of the hotel, they did tell us before hand that if there was no parking, we would have to make use of a public garage.
