2. The only 'new' things in the rooms were LCD/plasma panels available both in the bedroom and living room offering a variety of channels and pay per view channels payable with a credit card from the remote control.

3. Rooms are spacious and clean (I stayed at the top floor, with a view over the entrance; a quite room), the front lobby and cleaning staff are extremely nice and efficient, and the breakfast is good, with bagels, orange juice, yoghurt and an espresso machine.

5. We stayed on the 10th floor facing Pennsylvania Ave which was busy but not disturbing - views of Washington life were entertaining.
