1. Pentagon City , a huge mall is about 15 mins ride away on the blue line and costs USD2.40 each way.

3. I would recommend anyone staying here with a car to make sure they aware of any garage costs because it wasn't cheap if I would've had to pay.

I think that breakfast ended up costing $135 dollars for the five of us and two of the children only had a bowl of oatmeal ( I know this is our fault as obviously a buffet is going to be better value for those who want a large meal and I can only put it down to my jet lag that we weren't on the ball enough that first morning!) I know that that whole area is part of the renovations and i would guess that once the dining area is more formal again it will be easier for menus etc to be displayed.

7. There was expensive parking next door costly wifi charges, but we were not in our room much and used our smart phones for GPS or asked hotel staff for reccomendations.

8. When I checked our bill, we had been given a movie allowance per night (all of the movies cost more than the allowance) and charged the amount over the allowance that each movie cost.

9. We chose The Madison only because the tickets to the Terra Cotta Warriors @ National Geographic Museum were all sold out and it did cost us close to $50 more compared to the hotel that we originally had in mind plus the $12pp ticket.
