6. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance the streets seem fairly safe so dont be afraid to venture out although it is a good idea to book in advance.

7. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, the location is awesome as it is around the corner from the Farragut North Metro stop, and about a 4 block walk to the White House, plenty of restaurants and casual dining spots, the ever present drug store, as well as ATM's.

10. To summarize, The Mayflower has history, quality, location, lounge, bar, room service, restaurant and convenience and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit our wonderful Capital.
