3. We watched the Christmas Boat parade from the terrace of the hotel, and this was an excellent view and we did not require tickets like those who had purchased $$$$ reserved seating down on the river.

7. It did not have a roof, and had glass walls all around each side, so you got to take advantage of the breeze (or, that high up, windiness) and also get a panoramic view of downtown San Antonio.
