When I finally got someone on the phone I had to ask repeatedly for some compensation for the
money
I paid and they offered a future free night at the contessa.

This was ok, as they said they would release the funds at checkout, and we paid with a debit so they had to make sure they'd have their

We did not pay the extra
money
for the upgrade to the riverview room, however, the veiw was great looking down the river with the Christmas lights shining bright.
