1. The rooftop deck has a great view and hotel restaurant has great burgers when you want a fast meal.

2. I haven't seen many other hotels in New Orleans apart from a friend's room in the Marriott which had an amazing view but was just typical hotel and smaller too.

3. Our room did not have a good view, it faced out to an alleyway so all we could see was a parking lot and another building.

4. The roof-top pool at the other Omni is great and offers a beautiful view of the city but for some reason they're unwilling to let guests from the Omni Royal Crescent use it.

9. We were on the top floor in the corner - we had five sets of windows giving an great view of two streets - and I went to sleep each night to the sight of the Capital One building all lit up - red, white and blue.
