1. So when you are traveling to new Orleans to play on bourbon street, don't make the mistake of staying at the party, retreat to a lovely, utilitarian, and reasonably priced hotel, such as the Omni.

6. The staff are just lovely and so helpful, the room was clean and had a very comfortable bed and the location was great, just a couple of streets away from the main action, so nice and quiet, but convenient too.

9. I loved being a few blocks west of Canal Street where you could avoid the noise and crowds yet are there in less than 5 minutes if the action is where you wanted to be.

10. The icing on the cake was when I finally made it into New Orleans, the street that this hotel is located on (Gravier St) was closed because of some construction or something.
