So when you are traveling to new Orleans to play on bourbon
street
, don't make the mistake of staying at the party, retreat to a lovely, utilitarian, and reasonably priced hotel, such as the Omni.

The location is great, just a short walk to bourbon
street
, and a nice reprieve from the craziness that bourbon
street
can become.

Otherwise, the hotel is a great location - on a nice, quiet
street
just a block off of Canal.

Location wise it is great: within walking distance of French Quarter and Bourbon
Street
, but it's not the best hotel ever.

The plusses -- it is on side
street
that is very quiet with little
street
noise.

The staff are just lovely and so helpful, the room was clean and had a very comfortable bed and the location was great, just a couple of
street
s away from the main action, so nice and quiet, but convenient too.

Two blocks from Canal
Street
, we were able to enjoy all the fun, music and crowds in the French Quarter and return to a peaceful oasis at night.

I loved being a few blocks west of Canal
Street
where you could avoid the noise and crowds yet are there in less than 5 minutes if the action is where you wanted to be.

The icing on the cake was when I finally made it into New Orleans, the
street
that this hotel is located on (Gravier St) was closed because of some construction or something.
