1. Most of the rooms are at the back of the hotel with a view over the backs of other buildings, but we didn't mind, because we realised that if we'd had a view over Union Square it would have been too noisy.

3. Our room was 507 which is nice because although the view of a back building was not great it was away from the noisy Union square and therefore lovely and quiet at night.

5. The only problem from our point of view was that our room was close to the lobby so the noise from breakfast did sometimes wake us up early in the mornings.
