Be sure to book in advance and early morning trip to Alcatraz, buy a munipass for unlimited cable, trolley and bus service since there are lots of hills in town, go to fishermans wharf: see the sea lions at pier 39, eat Ghiardellis ice cream at Ghiardellis Sq, take the #71 bus to Haight-Ashbury and on to the Pacific Ocean, Check out the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown and on.
