1. But the beds were very comfortable, the rooms quiet (we were on the 8th floor in the B wing), with nice views.

2. I wouldn't stay if it was a special occasion as I'd pay the extra and stay somewhere with a great view, but if budget is tight and you just need somewhere that feels like home to lay your head then I'd choose Hotel 17.

8. Being on the first floor had the advantage of reaching the room without the use of the elevator or stairs and the disadvantage of having a view of a wall of the adjacent building.

10. there was always a slight scent of these little air fresheners you use in cars to decorate your rear view mirror (which usually indactes that there are other smells to cover up .
