1. The room smelled like an ashtray(this was a non-smoking room), the carpet was sticky in spots (we ended up wearing shoes in the room), the towels were dingy and the bedding had several holes and stains.

6. The room had clean sheets and towels (although some could be recycled as they were getting old and frayed), but it was in need of a good DEEP cleaning - hair in corners of the bathroom, etc. Also I stayed on the 7th floor which at one time was obviously a smoking floor.
