1. Also unless you have a quieter room overlooking the pool it is difficult to sleep as the noise from the bars on Bourbon street goes on until the early hours of the morning.

3. The manager was 'in a meeting' and not available but would call, The next afternoon the night manager did call to explain that there were no rooms as reserved and nothing better available, and he pointed out that the rooms were adequate for our needs - and the beds were European queens.

4. the hotel is undergoing renovation, but even some of the recently decorated rooms still have some rough edges.

Would definitely stay there again; however, we hope they fix the following: the shower head is way to low for anyone over 5'4', a small fridge in the room would be nice, the pool needs to be heated with more chaise lounges (not enough seating overall) and we were disappointed in the bar - not open during the day and no pool service.
