1. Our suite was large with a big sitting area, comfortable bed and great amenities It was also the only hotel in this part of DC that would guarantee us an adjoining room for the kids.

All the furnishings in the room were very beautifully and immaculately designed (the lovely bed deserves particular mention in terms of its elegant design, beautiful linen and the curtains that enveloped it) and the lighting was fitted in such a way as to really make the room look spectacular when illuminated.

8. We splurged for a junior suite with White House view, and while expensive, it couldn't have been lovelier, with large sitting area, ornamental fieplace, beautiful details and a sumptuous canpoied bed.
