5. The bar on the lower level was always so crowded we never used it, but the restaurant is among the best in Washington: exceptional food, service, and atmosphere (for some reason it is closed for dinner on Staurdays).

8. Service was first class and the food was terrific (try the oatmeal souffle with warm fruit sauce for something totally and deliciously different) Downstairs tucked away in the basement of the hotel is there bar 'Off the Record' where you can grab a drink or a sandwich.
