1. The fish tank had no fish, the 'pub' did not have a liquor license,The toilet ran constantly, the furniture was filthy and the bed felt as if we were sleeping on two box springs.

4. We go to bed approximately 11pm with the anticipation of leaving this forsaken place when at 3:30am, the fire alarm goes off.

5. Motel 6 Philadelphia (the 'new' building) is the kind of place that would perfectly serve as a movie set for a horror film: dingy rooms, smelly carpet, battered walls, a frightening bell hop/van driver who could be perfectly cast for Frankenstein, etc. Its the type of place where you sleep full dressed on top of the bed for fear of catching some disease or getting bit by bugs.

7. I started looking around the room and I see crumbs on the floor right next to the bed, at least 6 holes on the comforter from what im assuming is cigarettes, a hole in the wall, the nightstand covered in god knows what and the best part of it all was to come.

8. We didnt check in till 10:30 pm because we drove 6 hours I was so tired from driving and working all day that i was looking forward to laying in bed and going to sleep.

9. I am the one who booked this hotel (a girl who wants a clean bed and thats it, not all the frills) thinking it would be decent and give my boyfriend and I a place to rest after sight seeing and being at the game all day.
