8. Be sure to see the pictures I've posted from my room: the torn and frayed carpeting at the entrance to the bathroom, complete with exposed carpeting nails that were sticking up, and the especially unsavory rusty bathtub drain that looks like it has never seen a thorough cleaning.

9. before we arrived; they charged $10 a day for internet (hello, 1993!); they didn't clean the bathroom before our arrival; the main bar we were supposed to use (Trellis') was closed most evenings, and when open was seriously understaffed, and with horrible food and expensive drinks; Charley's was the same liquor at half the price, so that's where we went.
