1. There was a beautiful pool that we could see from our balcony but if the noise was terrible up on my balcony it must also be significant down at the pool.

2. At one point, my room had no air, but I was able to open the sliding door, though it was hardly fresh: my balcony overlooked the freeway and the open door invited the hot, humid air with the 100+ decibel freeway noise into the room.
