1. loved La Jolla and the seal beach (a MUST SEE!), loved the Mexican food in Old Town and did a harbour cruise which was a fun way to see San Diego.

"ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/13/2009 Vote
3. FYI: trolley only runs to about 12:45a so if you`re out later a cab will cost you about $20-25 from Gaslamp Quarter or Pacific Beach (we loved PB for the college-age low-cover charge Typhoon bar & the awesome Thai restaurant on Garnet--ask to sit on the floor).
"Perfect hotel for our girls` weekend!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/6/2008 Vote
4. Would you recommend that tourists stay 20 minutes out of town in the shopping mall district, or near some of your city`s greatest attractions like the gaslamp district, zoo, or surfing beaches.
"Normal business hotel, very inconveniently located " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/7/2007 Vote
5. But we rarely spend time in our room and it is literally 5 minutes to Hillcrest, 10 minutes to the zoo and downtown, 10 minutes to the beaches and easy to navigate and never traffic.
"Happy with our stay.....will return!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/24/2012 Vote

9. The trolley stops right across the street and there are plenty of restaurants and other businesses close by -- great location if you don't need to be downtown or by the beach.
"Not the best start to a stay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/31/2011 Vote
10. We made it to Sea World, Zoo, Padres game and Mission beach with a quick jump on the trolley across the street and then either one more trolley change or switch to a bus.
