1. While our room, a double queen, was on the street it was well insulated and we had no trouble with lights or noise.

4. If you are the type that can handle a little traffic noise and older hotel quirks, then I would definitely recommend the Montecito Inn.

9. When he came to show me two other available rooms - one dirty and only two doors away and the other the Tower Suite, a weird, vertical goth box with noise from the freeway (which, incidentally, is located on the back side of the hotel) he said he did 'this' all the time.

10. While you could not hear the noise on the sidewalk, you could hear (and feel) the vibrations of cars and trucks accelerating at each of the four stop signs 24/7.
