5. The hotel IS right off of the freeway (it was built in 1928 before the freeway existed!), so I suggest, if not staying in one of the 7 suites, requesting a 'mountain view' room - which is on the opposite side to the freeway.

7. I second most of what else has been said here; paper thin walls, rooms right on the freeway with windows that need to be open since there is no air-conditioning.
