4. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, in keeping with the theme of the hotel, but the fabrics were rich and new as were the gas fireplace, flat screened television, in room fridge, and remote control radio/cd player.

5. We were greeted warmly, were upgraded to a suite with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub -- and were absolutely impressed with the friendly staff and the decor both in the room and out.

6. The rooms are a perfect size and the decor/rug is a bit older but refreshing - so much nicer than staying in a stale, corporate Hilton or the like.
